About Gary:

Gary lives, works, and enjoys all the recreational advantages as a full-time resident in Central Idaho. His residency in Stanley makes him knowledgeable, accessible and available to show properties to buyers and manage his listings for his sellers in the Stanley area, communities down the Salmon River and in the Wood River Valley.

Gary moved to Stanley with his wife, Sari, after a 30-year career with Weyerhaeuser Company where he worked in the public policy and legislative arena. He has broad based experience in Congressional affairs, extensive experience in negotiations, and years of management experience. During his career he earned an MBA and a degree in Forest Management as well as having completed advanced studies at Harvard. While he enjoyed his career with Weyerhaeuser, he often spoke of the day when he would retire and move to Central Idaho to pursue his dream of living here while being a real estate professional.

Gary and Sari first came to Stanley on a family vacation as they camped alongside the Salmon River with their two young sons approximately 25 years ago. They fell in love with the area and within a few short years they purchased their first property in Stanley. Since then they have built two log homes, one in which they still live. Their children now bring the grandchildren to enjoy the boundless recreation activities in Central Idaho.

Gary’s full range of professional experience, his first-hand knowledge of the area, his membership in the National Association of Realtors, his membership in the Sun Valley Board of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service and direct access to the Sotheby’s team, all work together to make him a realtor you can trust and one who will work hard for you.
